Cheerfully played “What? Where? When?”

Two teams out of 24 won the first place in the intellectual battle – “Ostrovityane”, representing the Vasileostrovsky district and “Positive” from the Primorsky district. At the “Senior Generation” forum, the VI city intellectual tournament “What? Where? When?" among older citizens was completed.

The theme of this year's tournament was “Around the World”. The organizer was the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization for social adaptation of the elderly “Silver Age”.

The popularity of the tournament is growing, the influx of applicants was so great that some districts were represented by 2 teams. We had to conduct the tournament in two days. The first qualifying round took place on October 11. The final was played on October 12. The competition is not held in a television game format (1 round of 6 questions), but rather in a sports format (2 rounds of 7 questions).

“We were the first to start holding our “What? Where? When?" tournament within the “Senior Generation” project,” recalls Yulia Maltseva, director of the autonomous non-profit organization for social adaptation of the elderly “Silver Age”. “The teams prepare seriously, train, and then play with passion”.

The XVI International Forum “Senior Generation” takes place at Expoforum from October 11 to 13.
