The best traumatologists and orthopaedists to come to Expoforum in spring
Representatives of traumatology and orthopaedics will assemble in St. Petersburg on 11–13 April for the 11th All-Russian Congress of Traumatologists and Orthopaedists.
The event takes place once every four years and is the largest, most reputable event for the professional community of traumatologists and orthopaedists in Russia.
“The primary goal of any such forum is to present everything new that the leading research institutions as well as traumatology and orthopaedic clinics have, to the general public, with the subsequent implementation of state-of-the-art high-tech diagnostic and treatment methods for traumas and diseases of the locomotor system in practical health protection. The idea of the Congress is consolidation of the traumatology and orthopaedics community in Russia”, says President of the Association of Traumatologists and Orthopaedists of Russia (ATOR), academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergey Mironov.
The professionals will review all aspects of today’s traumatology and orthopaedics at the Congress in 16 sections, including reducing the number of traumas and diseases of the locomotor system. The doctors will pay close attention to polytraumas, injuries of the pelvic bones, spine, joints, hand, foot pathologies, bone cancer, children’s traumatology and orthopaedics.
The leading experts from Europe, North America, South America, Asia andAfricawill come to the event as well as Russians.
The technical organizer of the 11th All-Russian Congress of Traumatologists and Orthopaedists is LLC International Agency of Congress Management. Svetlana Plieva, CEO of the Agency, spoke highly of the ExpoForum as the Congress venue.
“The ATOR management selected the ExpoForum Convention & Exhibition Centre to hold this event – the most comfortable and up-to-date venue in the country, which provides multitasking and major transformation opportunities, which is very important for Congress delegates”, she said.
Seven conference halls will function simultaneously during the Congress. The medical equipment and medicine exhibition will take place in pavilions with an area of about3,000 sq. m.
About 1,500 participants were registered by March 2018, who presented more than 1,000 abstracts and about 200 reports.
The organizers expect at least 3,000 Russian delegates and interested professionals from CIS and non-CIS states.
