The SPIEF Show Jumping Cup Will Be Held for the First Time at the Hipposphere Exhibition

On June 8, the 8th traditional show jumping tournament for the Cup of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, SPIEF Cup 2024, will take place at the Hipposphere-2024 International Equestrian Exhibition as part of the SPIEF-2024 sports program.

The agreement was signed by Aleksandr Stuglev, Director of the Roscongress Foundation (the SPIEF organizer), and Sergey Voronkov, CEO of the EXPOFORUM International (the Hipposphere organizer).

“Equestrian sport is now increasingly popular and affordable, and horse breeding gradually turns into the attractive business that can become a potential supporting point for developers. But it is needed to develop tools to attract investors and train professional staff. The Roscongress Foundation, as a socially focused non-financial development institution, has already supported more than 12 sports, including equestrian competitions, namely show jumping. Our task, together with our partners, is increasing both human capital in this industry and drawing attention of the state and the business community to the challenges faced by the market players,” noted Stuglev.

“It is symbolic that we signed the agreement with Roscongress in the year of the 10th anniversary of the EXPOFORUM and the jubilee of the Hipposphere Exhibition. It will be held for the 25th time. I am sure our collaboration will be productive. The prospects are great.

The SPIEF-2024 will be held at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Center on June 5–8.
