The actors took part in the core event of the Safe Work Mediaforum – the screening of films dedicated to safe work and labor protection, which took place as part of the Specialized Exhibition PMS EXPO. The EXPOFORUM became a meeting place for film stars and professionals from various fields united by the desire of making occupational safety issues popular.

The “Safe Work” film project was initiated by the Safety and Quality Association, for the purpose of promoting compliance with the principles and rules of occupational safety and focusing attention on this area of a wide range of specialists and employees through cinematograph. 6 short feature films were presented on the big screen of the EXPOFORUM: Intern, Taxi Driver, Helmet, Overload, Tips from Petrovich and First Aid with Anfisa Chekhova. The film scripts are based on true stories.

Before the film premiere, Aleksandr Khalimovsky, President of the Safety and Quality Association, and Sergey Voronkov, CEO of the EXPOFORUM International, addressed the guests and the audience with welcoming speeches.

“We have created this film almanac to focus attention on this problem and easily convey to the citizens the simple truths – how to provide first aid to colleagues in an emergency”, noted Aleksandr Khalimovsky.

“Actors, directors, scriptwriters, producers and everyone who took part in the filming are people who save the health and lives of our able-bodied population. The Mediaforum organizers and filmmakers contribute to making occupational safety trendy, just as once we learned to fasten seat belts in a car and now make a remark to someone who does not do this,” said Sergey Voronkov in the address.

The film screening culminated in the ceremony of awarding the “Safe Work” National Prize to outstanding companies and specialists in the field of implementation, development and promotion of the principles of occupational safety and safe work. The entrepreneurs were awarded by Russian theater and movie stars.
