Power and Electrical Engineering Equipment Showcased at EXPOFORUM

On June 25 to 28 during the Russian International Energy Forum, the 26th International exhibition of power and electrical engineering equipment and technologies Power and Electrical Engineering Exhibition took place. This year, more than 200 Russian and international companies took part in the exhibition program.

The participants included Electronmash JSC. The company implements complex engineering projects - engineering and manufacture of switchboard equipment, electric-installation and commissioning works. One of the products of Electronmash is ELTIMA switchgears. They are designed to receive and distribute 3-phase AC electric power rated for 50 Hz and a voltage of 6 (10) kV. Switchgears are used at power plants, transformer substations and at distribution plants in the oil and gas industry, metallurgical industry, energy, engineering, chemical, petrochemical industries. The company has its own production capacities and is an official partner of the world's leading manufacturers of electrical equipment and components, such as ABB, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Elsteel, GBE SpA, Hyundai Heavy Industries, etc.

One of the exhibition participants, VELAN, the major Russian manufacturer of explosion-proof electrical equipment, presented industrial ex-proof electrical equipment of their own design.

The top Russian power machine building enterprise, REP Holding, presented at their stand the latest solutions for next generation power machines, including T32 gas turbine plant, NKY Sfera-N electrical cabinet – a low voltage distributing device, and a 32 MW gas turbine electric station model. Power and electrical engineering equipment produced by REP Holding is supplied to major power and power generating companies, nuclear enterprises, fuel-and-energy companies and electric grid entities. Among there top customers, there are OGK-2 PJSC, Rosenergoatom PJSC, FGC UES PJSC, Gazprom Energoholding Ltd., Inter RAO PJSC and many more.

At the joint stand of Russian Export Center JSC, visitors were presented the products, newly designed by Russian manufacturers. Russian Export Center is a single point of contact for exporters in the sphere of financial and nonfinancial support, including engagement with specialized ministries and authorities. The stand brought together Russia-based companies involved in design and manufacturing of automatic systems in the power sector, design of energy control systems, power equipment repair, development and production of control and inspection tools for HV switches and transformers. Here, there were projects by Fidesys, Rakurs Engineering, Fereks Trade House, Scientific and Technical Company Techno As, and Forsel. 11 companies, supported by REC, arranged their individual stands, including Prosoft Systems, Proton, Sherp, KNG PC, NTBE Commissioning Enterprise, REPH, Agro Production and Commercial Company, Express Eco Filter, Electronics and Mechanics Plant ABS Avtomatizatsiya, PermSnabSbyt PPMTS and Serpukhov Capacitor Plant KVAR.

PLC Technology that specializes in development, production and introduction of software and finished technical solutions for systems in the field of energy showcased at the exhibition its TOPAZ Temperature Control System – a stationary multichannel continuous system, intended for temperature distribution monitoring along cable lines.

Prosoft Systems Engineering company featured advanced solutions for the power grid digitalization. Among the equipment presented are ARIS 2305/2308 multifunctional terminal of relay protection and automation 6-35 kV; ARIS 2203 switchgear controller 6-35 kV with functions of automated control systems and automated systems of electric power technical record-keeping, determination of phase-to-phase/phase-to-ground faults; MKPA-RZ complex of automatic emergency response and relay protection system and more. On top of that, the company offers the Redkit software package for creating data management systems for automation of power and industrial facilities. Within the framework of the Forum, Prosoft Systems will also show an interactive presentation of package solutions for digital electric power distribution system and SMART GRID system.

Scientific and production enterprise EKRA focuses on development and supply of high-tech relay protection and automation devices (RPA) on the basis of emerging microchip hardware for electrical energy, oil-and-gas and other industrial facilities. All complete RPA devices issued by the company are adjusted for application with automatic process control systems (APCS). This year, ECRA has also presented at the exhibition its protection cabinet for terminal transformer substations ШЭ2607 152, designed to protect and automate equipment of digital stepdown substations. Moreover, they’ve brought in a panel computer EKRA 3717-0101, intended for performing computation tasks at electrical energy sites as TM controllers of HMI devices.

NPK Morsvyazavtomatica presented its projects in the field of shipborne and multipurpose industrial electronics. The company is engaged in production of electric cabinets and other metal structures, modular energy storage systems, consoles, climate control and refrigerating equipment, as well as unconventional housings and metal structures under customer drawings.  Besides, the company takes active part in the import substitution program.

ABB showcased at their stand electrical equipment, in particular, the first in the world TruONE® automatic transfer switch, new AF and MS devices featuring a unique technology of conductor assembly, Terra 53CJG charging station, SMU615 bridging device, a device for centralized protection and management of SSC600 substations, as well as REX640 protection and control device.
