The EXPOFORUM Hosted Occupational Safety and Personnel Development Specialists

On February 21, the 8th Specialized Exhibition PMS EXPO “Personnel. Management. Safety” started its work at the EXPOFORUM.

The exhibition in the field of occupational safety and personnel development unites specialists on safety and special assessment of working conditions, HR-sector, suppliers and producers of labor protection (safety) services, representatives of industry specific federal and regional public authorities.

The Exhibition displays personal protective equipment for head, eyes, face, respiratory and acoustic organs, workwear and safety footwear, services in the field of occupational health and safety and special assessment of working conditions (SAWC), occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS), as well as the industrial accident insurance programs. Development companies present their IT solutions for business that facilitate the improvement of operational efficiency in such spheres as HR and workflow management.

The convention program of PMS EXPO includes 20 events devoted to occupational health and safety. The speakers will share their experience and и deliver reports on the relevant industry issues: changes in the labor protection legislation, prospects of the market development, quality control opportunities, new personnel on the occupational safety, construction safety, trends of the national market of personal protective equipment, a special approach to labor protection in the Arctic zone, management of works at height, industrial medicine and health protection, occupational safety digitalization.

An interactive program promotes active interaction of the Exhibition participants: exhibition performance in the high-altitude training area, quests, master classes and business games on occupational health and safety and personnel development, a gallery of novelties and a new section – a gallery of needs.

The key event of the interactive program is Safe Work Mediaforum. On February 21, the feature shorts on occupational health and safety will be presented for the attention of spectators on the big screen of the EXPOFORUM. After the film show, the award ceremony will take place where the best companies and experts in occupational safety issues will be awarded the Safe Work National Prize. Badges of honors will be granted by experts and actors of feature shorts, Russian film stars: Evelina Bledans, Andrey Urgant, Anfisa Chekhova, Sergey Selin, Ekaterina Shpitsa, Ivan Kokorin, Aleksandr Polovtsev and Anastasia Ryseva.

The Mediaforum business program is held in the live broadcast format. The experts will discuss the issues of safety culture and occupational safety in the realities of modern life, reduction of industrial injuries and accidents, management of activities carried out by the occupational health and safety service in Russia, recent changes in the legislation, new practices of implementing safe work systems. One of the in-studio guests will be a TV host Anfisa Chekhova, who will demonstrate visually how to render first aid.

Traditionally, a Business Contacts Center was organized on the site that offers the participants in two days to hold individual negotiations with the largest corporate purchasers of the federal and regional levels. This is one of the key business events of the PMS EXPO, the purpose of which is to provide bilateral assistance to service providers and product manufacturers – in finding new sales markets, and to organizations – in finding contractors and performers. On February 21, the companies involved in occupation safety will take part in the event, February 22 is the day of HR. For participating in the event, pre-registration at the project website is required.

The PMS EXPO takes place within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Labor Forum with the support of the Government of St. Petersburg , the National Occupational Safety Association, the National Qualifications Development Agency and the Association of Developers, Manufacturers and Suppliers of Personal Protective Equipment.
