On February 8, the Nevskiy Larets Trade Fair opened – the only project in the North-West of Russia destined to preserve and revive folk arts and crafts. More than 70 manufacturing companies and craftsmen from 15 regions of the country delight guests with their goods of all kinds – from metal art, stone and bone carving to lace-making and miniature lacquer painting.
On February 8, EXPOFORUM turned into a true treasury. The Nevskiy Larets International Trade Fair of Folk Arts and Crafts gathered representatives from 84 companies from all across Russia. Craftsmen brought all kinds of handmade masterpieces to St. Petersburg: silver dishes decorated with fables of Russian folk tales, unique ivory items, embroideries, various souvenirs and much more.
On 17 January, during the 8th Europe + Asia Event Forum (EFEA), a panel discussion “Management Trends of Exhibition and Congress Venues” took place. Participants discussed introduction of service quality standards and optimisation of business processes for platform management. Sergey Voronkov, CEO of ExpoForum-International, was one of speakers.
Future industries connected with new technologies were discussed during the session “Artificial Intelligence VS Human Capital: How Business Processes Are Changing in the Event Industry” at the 8th Europe + Asia Event Forum (EFEA). The session was moderated by Sergey Voronkov, CEO of ExpoForum-International.
On 17 January, during the 8th Europe + Asia Event Forum, the names were announced of the winners of the EFEA Awards, a professional award in the meetings industry.
On January 2, 2019, World New Year, an educational and entertaining family space park opened in EXPOFORUM. Over a period of seven days, from January 2 through January 7, children and adults will travel around the Milky Way Galaxy and discover various mysteries of the planets. The program of the event includes an educational quest, various attractions, numerous workshops and Chernomor, a fairy-tale musical with 3D mapping, based on tales by Alexander Pushkin.
On December 22, guests of EXPOFORUM, accompanied by musicians of the Tavrichesky Orchestra, departed on a New Year’s-themed adventure. The melodies performed by a virtuosi orchestra led by Mikhail Golikov, People’s Artist of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, brought the audience closer to the most magical festival of the year.
