45 employers presented vacancies for St. Petersburg residents aged 50+ at the “Job Fair” within the XVI International Forum “Senior Generation” on October 11–12 at Expoforum.

The strategic session “Caring for Elders: The Art of Creating a Long-Term Care System” became one of the key thematic focuses of the “Senior Generation” Forum 2023 – with its in-depth theoretical considerations, a thorough excursion into history and an anamnesis of the current state of affairs.

The second day of the International Forum “Senior Generation” was no less productive than the first one, especially in the niche of the congress program, which started with the discussion “The Golden Autumn of Life: Psychological support and well-being of older people as a priority.”

On October 13, experts discussed how to join a volunteer organization or choose a profession related to helping older people, at the “Helping is Easy” Conference of Volunteers and Concerned People within the “Senior Generation” Forum.

Joint effective information work of doctors and social services can be the key to successful geriatric care – this is the conclusion reached by the participants of the XVII scientific and practical international conference “Pushkov Readings”: interdepartmental interaction in the provision of geriatric care”.

Two teams out of 24 won the first place in the intellectual battle – “Ostrovityane”, representing the Vasileostrovsky district and “Positive” from the Primorsky district. At the “Senior Generation” forum, the VI city intellectual tournament “What? Where? When?" among older citizens was completed.
